We understand the excitement and effort involved in planning a diving adventure on our island, especially for those visiting us from Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Cancun or any other city. This usually requires arranging detailed logistics, including taking a ferry to reach us. However, it’s important to highlight that, sometimes, weather conditions may not be favorable. When the Port Authority of Cozumel determines the suspension of recreational nautical activities for safety reasons, unfortunately, this prevents diving activities from taking place.
Under such circumstances, and following our refund policy, we want to assure you that we will proceed to refund the full amount of your deposit made at the time of booking. However, it is crucial to understand that we cannot take responsibility for other expenses incurred to get to the island, such as ferry tickets or other logistical costs associated with your transfer. The unpredictable nature of the weather is a factor beyond our control, though we recognize that most of our divers, aware of this possibility, choose to consciously accept this risk.
We deeply appreciate your understanding and flexibility, and we commit to doing everything possible to offer you a memorable and safe experience, always prioritizing the well-being of our customers and respecting maritime safety guidelines.
We appreciate your understanding and are committed to ensuring that the refund process is clear and fair for all parties involved.
• Cyclones: In the Caribbean, hurricane season begins in June and continues until October, with the summer months being the most active. Hurricanes are a demonstration of nature and as such unchangeable as far as we might be concerned.
