Required Notice:
We require a minimum of 15 days’ notice for any cancellations or significant changes to your diving schedule (including date changes).
Cancellations made with less than 15 days’ notice.
Rescheduling requests made with less than 5 days’ notice.
No-shows, including those due to illness without prior notice.
Private tours, as your booking blocks availability for other divers.
We understand that travelers may become ill due to food, unfiltered water, alcohol, seasickness, or sun overexposure. However, we still require 15 days’ notice to cancel or 5 days’ notice to reschedule without penalty.
A message, call, or email is sufficient notice.
If you’re running late, please contact us via WhatsApp or phone. If our schedule allows, we’ll wait or tell you where to meet the boat.
If we don’t hear from you or your arrival is significantly delayed, we reserve the right to leave without you, and you will be charged the full daily rate.
If the port is officially closed by Cozumel authorities, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
If the port is open but you choose not to dive due to the weather, no refund will be issued. We always follow the Port Authority’s guidance and prioritize safety.
If you are traveling from Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Cancún, or elsewhere and the port is officially closed, your deposit will be refunded.
Please note that ferry tickets, transfers, or other external expenses are non-refundable as they are beyond our control.
We understand that plans may change. You may reschedule your dive at no cost with at least 5 days’ notice, subject to availability.
Rescheduling requests made with less than 5 days’ notice are treated as cancellations, as we prepare logistics (crew, tanks, gear, permits) the day before each dive.
Last-minute changes affect our operations the same way as cancellations and result in the loss of your deposit or full payment, depending on your booking.
Illness or emergencies still require 5 days’ notice to be eligible for rescheduling without penalties.
A deposit of $1,000 MXN per diver is required to confirm your booking.
Deposits are only requested after we confirm availability and send the secure payment link.
All payments made via PayPal or credit card are subject to a 5% processing fee.
The remaining balance is payable in cash (USD or MXN) prior to departure.
We offer complimentary photos and videos taken by our instructors or dive masters during your dives.
However:
Safety is our top priority. If the instructor needs to assist a diver, media may not be captured.
Technical issues (equipment failure, camera unavailable, etc.) may also affect delivery.
This is a courtesy service, so no refunds will be issued if media cannot be provided.
The Caribbean hurricane season runs from June through October, with increased activity in summer.
These natural events are unpredictable and beyond our control, so we recommend planning accordingly and monitoring weather updates.
Divers who have not dived in over 2 years must complete a mandatory refresher dive before joining any dive trip.
